Walt Poupart's background entails over 40+ years of being involved in the corporate world and ministry.  He's been a pastor, missionary, hospital chaplain, and Civil Air Patrol chaplain (captain), an auxiliary of the United States Air Force. In addition to being licensed with the State of Ohio as a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC), he is also a nationally Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).

He's married to his high school sweetheart of 47 years and has three adult children.
He brings his life experience years of married life and family to the counseling experience. He enjoys living his life as a husband, father, and grandfather.

Walt also does guest speaking for different venues. He teaches seminars on Anger and Conflict; Dealing with Difficult People;  Understanding Life and Conflict God's Way, and is certified to teach the DISC, a personality profile inventory.  Uses the Prepare/Enrich inventory in counseling with couples to better understand their relationship and enhance it.
